During Mousumi's travels through Egypt, one of her favorite places in Cairo (away from the tourist attractions) was an area known as Zamalek. Known as the modern part of Cairo, with a pseudo-European residential feel, these earrings depict such modernity. A silver hand wire wrapped ball, is followed by an 18K Vermeil ball, ending with a beautiful faceted aqua chalcedony stone, hanging at approx. 2.5". These earrings are great to wear for an evening out!
