While visiting Mexico City with her mom and brother, Mousumi was inspired by the bold architecture and interior design found throughout the city. This necklace is inspired by the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Spanish for Palace of Fine Arts). Located in city center, this is the premier opera house of Mexico City. During the late 19th century when the Palace was built by the Italian architect Adamo Boari, there was a tendency to imitate European art, styles and customs. The concert hall has a mix of art nouveau and art deco style.

This art deco necklace has fifteen hand brushed circles. The eighth circle (in the middle) has a CAB finished aqua chalcedony stone. Since the necklace has an artistic toggle closure, you can wear it to the side with the clasp showing on the shoulder or on the back side. This is definitely a statement necklace and is sure to be noticed!
